In February 2010, the Federal State Education Institution TRAINING AND METHO-
DOLOGICAL CENTER FOR RAILROAD TRANSPORTATION EDUCATION marked its 65th
anniversary.

For many years, our activities have been aimed at developing and publishing educa-
tion and methodological and regulatory documents, learning aids, albums, posters,
videos, and educational software programs designed for the educational institutions
of the Federal Railroad Transportation Agency and Russian Railways' technical schools
and centers. We strive to keep up with the times and the rapid changes associated
with the implementation of the "Development of the Russian Transportation System
for 2010–2015" federal target program.

The Center is open for the following types of cooperation: provision of foreign educa-
tional institutions with literature dedicated to railroad transportation; contractual
activities for the purchase of copyright to publish foreign books in Russian and for the
sale of copyright to publish our books in foreign languages; creation of interesting
and relevant projects for the development and publication of study materials, educa-
tional software programs, educational films, and electronic versions of printed publi-
cations.

The Training and Methodological Center regularly participates in educational, trans-
portation, and book exhibitions held in Russia and CIS and non-CIS countries. At all
large international exhibitions, our products find their consumers and constantly
rouse interest among specialists, which is evidenced by the medals and prestigious
awards that we received at different exhibitions.
